Getting Started
Once you’ve installed Windows Live Messenger for BlackBerry smartphones, you’ll need a Windows Live™ ID, MSN ID or Microsoft® Passport account to get started. If you already have a Windows Live or MSN ID, or a Microsoft Passport account, you can use the same email address and password to sign into Windows Live Messenger on your BlackBerry smartphone.
Sign up for a Windows Live ID now
To connect to Windows Live Messenger, make sure your BlackBerry smartphone is connected to a wireless network, then:
- Click the Windows Live Messenger icon on your BlackBerry smartphone home screen
- Type your Windows Live ID email address and password
- Click Sign In
