The BlackBerry Client for IBM Lotus Connections v2.5 will be available soon. The new version of the client includes additional features for both end users and IT administrators.

- High capacity: deploy multiple Social Networking Application Proxy servers to service a larger population of users
- High availability: in the event a Social Networking Application Proxy server becomes unavailable, server traffic from the unavailable server will be routed to the functional server
- Console validation: when configuring the Social Networking Application Proxy server, administrator input into the server’s interface is checked for validity prior to acceptance
- Automatic certificate generation: certifications required to form a trusted relationship between the Social Networking Application Proxy server and the BlackBerry Enterprise Server infrastructure are automatically generated during the Social Networking Application Proxy server installation process
