Regency Centers needed to give its construction managers a way to remotely approve purchase orders so they could spend more time on the job site and in contractor meetings, while also keeping the company’s payment processes running smoothly.

Solution

Using the RF-SMART PO Approval application, developed by BlackBerry® Alliance Program member ICS on the Dexterra Concert™ mobility platform, construction managers and VPs can now approve purchase order (PO) requests on their BlackBerry smartphones. The approved PO is automatically routed to their back end, Oracle® JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, where it’s processed for payment.
