3 and RIM Launch the BlackBerry Bold Smartphone in Denmark

The BlackBerry Bold smartphone is designed for business professionals and power users and delivers exceptional functionality and performance in an intuitive and stylish design.

The BlackBerry Bold smartphone comes with tri-band support for HSDPA high-speed networks around the world and includes integrated GPS and Wi-Fi®, as well as a rich set of multimedia capabilities. Featuring a lustrous black exterior, satin chrome finished frame and stylish leatherette backplate, the BlackBerry Bold is a symbol of accomplishment and aspiration. Its broad features, stunning display, fast performance, sophisticated user interface and newly designed full QWERTY keyboard make it a ‘must have’.

  • Newly enhanced, high performance browser and high-resolution, ultra-bright display give users an on-the-go web browsing experience with desktop-style depiction.  The trackball mimics a mouse, making it easy to navigate sites in "Page View" or "Column View" or to point-and-click in order to zoom in on specific parts of a web page. Various emulation settings allow users to choose between the full desktop-style HTML content and layout or a mobile version. Attachments can also be downloaded from within the browser and there is support for watching streaming videos (RTSP – real-time streaming protocol).
