In order to deploy your MDS Runtime applications created with BlackBerry® MDS Studio or the BlackBerry® Plug-in for Microsoft® Visual Studio®, BlackBerry® MDS Runtime must first be deployed to BlackBerry® smartphones.
BlackBerry MDS Runtime is the container-based execution environment for all BlackBerry MDS Runtime applications. BlackBerry MDS Runtime is designed to provide the common underlying services that are used by BlackBerry client applications, including the user interface framework, data management, and client-server communication services.
